Practice overview
Two major things happened within me at 10 years old when I bottle-fed my baby sister for the first time. One, I knew I wanted to be a mother, and two, I wanted a career working with young children. As a teen, I worked for various families and babysat for them before becoming a mother myself. From there, I mostly babysat for friends and family. Two years ago, I decided to make the switch to becoming a birthworker. I take a trauma-informed, individualized approach with all my clients to provide a unique experience tailored specifically to each family. I am here to support the mother and however that may look for her on a particular day. I follow a gentle parenting approach and believe in meeting an infant's needs when it becomes known. I provide all my clients with up-to-date evidence-based information and physical and emotional support. I also help support families with light household duties, meal prep, breastfeeding support, and goal setting.
