Practice overview
My name is Lillian, I use they/them pronouns, and am white, queer, non-religious, and am not a parent.
I am a South Minneapolis-based birth doula. I have been a massage therapist for eight years, and co-own Total Solace Massage in Uptown Minneapolis. Massage is, of course, included in my birth doula package and often becomes a part of broth or postpartum care.
My practice is evidence based, trauma aware, and centers in body acceptance. My goal as your birth doula is to support your growing family in having a birth in which you are aware of your options, feel confident in your choices, respected by your care team, and cared for in your birthing time.

They are so incredibly passionate about what they do, and it shows in their rapport and the outside resources they are constantly reading and learning from. They are also just a genuinely nice person. Even in a professional care setting, they brought such a warm and welcoming personality that put me at ease immediately.

October 5, 2024 at 5:38 pm | Peer reviewIt was an absolute joy to get to have Lily shadow me with my clients. Lily attended prenatal meetings, births and postpartum meetings with me. They added education, a sense of calm and safety and deep compassion for my clients. They helped ground the space and were a tremendous support to me as well. They were clearly a doula before even attending their first birth we me, some are just born for this and Lily is. Lily also adds a social justice component and taught me a lot about community services I didn’t even know about. I highly recommend them and even sent them to back me up at a birth as requested by my client and my clients loved their support.
